Industrial shoe production is facing profound changes due to the megatrends of digitalisation, sustainability and globalisation, which require a reorientation of existing teaching content in education and training and necessitate a forward-looking examination of future developments and skills requirements.
Goals:
Entwicklung, pädagogische Strukturierung und Pilotierung von Kursen für Auszubildende und/oder Beschäftigte in der industriellen Schuhproduktion in Deutschland, Portugal und Rumänien
Industrial shoe production is in a state of flux. Global megatrends such as digitalisation, sustainability and globalisation are not only changing production processes, but also the demands placed on skilled workers. New technologies, changing value chains and growing ecological and social expectations call for future-orientated skills.
In order to secure the industry's competitiveness and actively participate in shaping a sustainable, digitally networked production environment, a fundamental update of training and further education content is required.
This is precisely where this project comes in: It aims to analyse how role profiles are changing, which skills will be in demand in the future - and what a modern, flexible and future-proof educational offering could look like. The focus is on a visionary view of the industry of tomorrow: networked, resource-saving, adaptable and people-centred.
The results include :
- A strong partnership of relevant interest groups with distinctive expertise.
- A matrix showing the impact of around 20 trend dimensions on the sector's 18 areas of activity (SoAs).
- Twelve quality-assured training manuals for practical communication of the most relevant impacts in the most affected SoAs.
- SWOT analyses for piloting and evaluating 15 courses in three countries, as a basis for updating training profiles.
