PFI cordially invites all interested persons to participate in a Workshop on the current status of standardisation of shoe-size systems to be held on 16 December 2014. The Workshop will take place on the premises of ISC. It will start at 9:00 am and is expected to finish at around 3:00 pm.The workshop is held in German language.
Programme
1. Welcome address
2. Presentation of new definitions pertaining to foot, last, and shoe measurements (approx. two hours)
3. Presentation of shoe-size tables (approx. one hour)
Lunchtime Snack
4. Presentation of test methods for lasts on the basis of the new definitions (approx. one hour)
5. Presentation of test methods for measurement of the interior of a shoe on the basis of the new definitions (approx. one hour)
6. Discussion
The participation fee is € 185 per person (€ 105 for members of Standards Committee 062-10-11 «Footwear»).
