Projektbeschreibung<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Reststoffe aus Lebensmittelproduktion und Landwirtschaft sind aussichtsreiche Ausgangssubstrate f\u00fcr die fermentative Gewinnung von biobasierten Chemikalien. Biogasfermenter beherbergen eine Vielzahl von Mikroorganismen, die in der Lage sind, verschiedene Substrate wie landwirtschaftliche Reststoffe oder Lebensmittelabf\u00e4lle abzubauen. Au\u00dferdem beg\u00fcnstigt der hohe Selektionsdruck in den Fermentern das Wachstum von St\u00e4mmen mit besonders hoher Aktivit\u00e4t.&nbsp; Damit stellen Biogasfermenter ein ideales Reservoir f\u00fcr die Isolierung neuer Produktionsst\u00e4mme dar. Aufgrund der gro\u00dfen mikrobiellen Vielfalt in Biogasfermentern sind neuartige Screening-Tools f\u00fcr die Identifizierung vielversprechender Kandidaten erforderlich. Im Projekt NovelBioChem werden zun\u00e4chst molekulare Screening-Tools entwickelt, die auf die Zielgene zugeschnitten sind, die an der Produktion der adressierten Plattformchemikalien beteiligt sind. Durch diese innovativen Screening-Tools wird die zielgerichtete Identifizierung und Isolierung potenzieller Kandidaten wesentlich erleichtert und beschleunigt. Weiterhin k\u00f6nnen die laufenden Anreicherungs- und Kultivierungsprozesse \u00fcberwacht und gesteuert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ziel des Projektes ist es, mit diesem neuen Ansatz leistungsf\u00e4hige Produzenten f\u00fcr ausgew\u00e4hlte Zielmolek\u00fcle zu isolieren und zu charakterisieren. Im Zentrum stehen hierbei die Plattformchemikalien Milchs\u00e4ure, Butandiol und Bernsteins\u00e4ure, welche zentrale Grundbausteine verschiedener biobasierter Polymere darstellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Innerhalb des Verbundprojektes fokussierte sich das PFI auf die Isolierung und Charakterisierung strikt anaerober Mikroorgansimen und deren Einsatz f\u00fcr die fermentative Gewinnung von Plattformchemikalien. Der Projektpartner Hochschule Kaiserslautern konzentrierte sich schwerpunktm\u00e4\u00dfig auf die Isolierung von fakultativ anaeroben Bakterien und deren Eignung als potentielle Produktionsorgansimen.
